Hound on the Ground

Description

“Hound on the Ground” Generally, mountain lions (Puma concolor) are calm, quiet and elusive. They are most commonly found in areas with plentiful prey and adequate cover. You don’t usually see a cougar exposed like this so I suspect he climbed this tree to outrun a hunting hound. This was my first time painting wispy clouds and just loved the oily process of sweeping paint around with a large brush.
